About me
nice to meet you.
Thank you for visiting my site.
Let me tell you a little about myself and how this website came about.
When I was a child, I remember often wearing clothes that my mother made by hand.
Having handmade clothes close at hand was what inspired me to start making my own things.
I would buy beautiful fabrics whenever I saw them in town, and looking at my collection would make me feel happy.
When I started to have more free time, I started making simple dresses and skirts in my own style using my favorite fabrics.
Of course, it's not as good as what a professional would make, but it turned out a lot cuter than I expected and has become one of my favourite pieces of clothing.
I remember how happy I felt when strangers would express interest in me when I wore it out.
In the fall of 2021, as a new attempt to mark a turning point in my life, I asked a professional to create patterns and asked a domestic sewing company with proven skills to tailor simple A-line and box-line dresses.
The fabrics we use are from our favorite fabric collections and rare deadstock items donated by fabric specialist companies.
(We have planned and produced original print products for the new products to be released in May 2023.)
A-line and box-line dresses were popular designs in the 1960s.
I love the clothes and outfits worn by Mrs. Jacqueline, the 35th President of the United States, John F. Kennedy, so I named my brand "Jacqueline."
Much of the fabric itself is deadstock (from the 1960s to 1990s), and all of the items are highly recommended, with beautiful colors created by great designers of the time.
(From 2023, we will also be offering original design products inspired by 1960s designs.)
A beautiful fabric that will continue to shine for many years to come without fading.
I would be extremely happy if everyone who sees this "Jacqueline" dress likes it.
